Tristes nouvelles de Cockermouth en ce début Octobre..
Trevor GREEN, très connu à Cockermouth pour ses talents d’artiste, est décédé ce 30 septembre.
Il est venu maintes fois à Marvejols avec son épouse Margaret à qui nous envoyons nos plus sincères condoléances.
Nous garderons un très bon souvenir de lui .
Sad news from Cockermouth… Trevor GREEN, well-known in Cockermouth for his artistic talents, passed away on September 30th. He visited Marvejols many times with his wife Margaret, to whom we send our deepest condolences.
We will cherish the memory of him.
C’est avec beaucoup de tristesse que nous apprenons dimanche 3 octobre le décès de Derwent NEWTON ,un autre grand ami du Jumelage entre nos deux villes .Nous n’oublierons pas la gentillesse et l’engagement de Derwent et son épouse Peggy (décédée en 2017). Nous adressons toutes nos condoléances à la famille.
It is with great sadness that we learned of the passing of Derwent NEWTON, another great friend of the twinning between our two towns. We will not forget the kindness and dedication of Derwent and his wife Peggy (who passed away in 2017). We extend our deepest condolences to his family.
